Hari Chutney/Cilantro(Coriander) chutney Recipe

Hari Chutney/Coriander chutney is a very simple recipe. Coriander chutney is a nice accompaniment with Sandwich, Pakoras, Dhokla, Samosa, Aloo tikki  and even goes well with Chaat items like Bhel puri, Batata puri and many popular Indian snacks.

Preparation time: 5 - 7 minutes
Serves: 1 medium bowl


Ingredients:
Green coriander (cilantro) - 1 big bunch (chopped)
Green chilies (chopped) - 3-4
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Garlic - 2-3 cloves
Tomatoes (chopped) - 1/2 medium
Salt - as per taste
Oil - 1 tsp
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp ( or adjust as desired)

Method:

1. In a blender add coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, green chillies, tomato, salt and water (as needed) and blend. Make a smooth paste.

2. Add lemon juice and oil. Mix well.

3. Transfer chutney in a bowl. store the coriander chutney in a covered bowl or container in the refrigerator for 1 week.

4. Serve with snacks like Aloo tikki, Samosa, Pakora, Sandwich as required.
