  • Paneer (Cut into strips) – 200 grams
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Dried red chilies – 2 to 3
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Onion (cut into strips) – 1 medium
  • Tomato (cut into strips) – 1 medium
  • Green Capsicum (cut into strips) – ½ medium
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
  • Green chilies (chopped) – 2
  • Ginger (thinly sliced) - 1 inch
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce – ½ cup
  • Salt – to taste
  • Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves/Cilantro – 2 tbsp


1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and dried red chilies and sauté for 30 seconds.

2. Add green chilies and ginger and sauté for few seconds.

3. Add onion and fry till it’s soft and translucent.

4. Add tomato and capsicum strips and toss well.

5. Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Toss to mix well.

6. Add vinegar and toss again. Add tomato sauce, mix well and cook for a minute.

7. Add pepper powder and garam masala powder.

8. Add paneer and salt and toss to mix well.

9. Add coriander leaves. Mix well.

10. Serve hot with naan, rori or fried rice.
